The DPAc

The Dakar Publishing Academy (DPAc) is an initiative dedicated to equipping African scholars and graduate students with the skills and tools needed to succeed in academic publishing, grant writing and research communication. Rooted in the belief that African scholarship should be more visible and globally recognized, the Academy bridges the gap between research production and impactful dissemination.

Through intensive workshops, mentorship, and collaborative learning, DPAc trains scholars in scientific writing, grant development, and professional networking. Its programs are designed not only to strengthen individual researchers, but also to build institutional capacity and foster a vibrant community of knowledge exchange across the continent and diaspora.

By supporting scholars to publish, secure funding, and share their work internationally, the Dakar Publishing Academy plays a critical role in amplifying African voices and advancing research that contributes to global conversations and solutions.
